Several varied reactions have trailed the recent BBC interview with the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari.
In the interview, she allegedly said that the leadership of Nigeria has been hijacked by a cabal and that she would not support her husband come 2019, especially if nothing is done by the problem.

First Lady Aisha Buhari was brutally honest tho, "if we dont fulfil our promise, I'm not campaigning in 2019"— Wale Gates (@walegates) October 14, 2016
Dame Peace wld never say that
Rather than castigate her, Aisha Buhari should be commended...In a country where eye service and sycophancy is a way of life— Sidney (@sidramatic1) October 14, 2016
Aisha Buhari has guts. Strangely, the fact that she could talk makes me see Buhari in a different light. He is not gagging her at least.— Victor Asemota (@asemota) October 14, 2016
Aisha Buhari isn't speaking for me, probably not for you too. She's speaking for those partisans who expected rewards for supporting Buhari.— Gimba Kakanda (@gimbakakanda) October 14, 2016
Aisha Buhari is my new favorite person!! I have the biggest respect for people who stand up and speak up for what they believe— Rebecca E. Roberts (@enobong) October 14, 2016
A very serious public tonguelashing for President @MBuhari, from the most unlikely person - Aisha, his wife. Hmm!https://t.co/RGIxanQzRY— Osasu Obayiuwana (@osasuo) October 14, 2016
So somebody's wife cannot tell him that he needs to fix up & look sharp and stop dilly dallying again? She did well. Kudos Aisha Buhari ππΎππΎ— DaddyMOSneh (@officialdaddymo) October 14, 2016
