According to a facebook User who reported the Bad story; the armed men made their way into the town through the Kasar market road, they killed a quite number of people at the popular Zaki-Biam yam market, burnt some vehicles and shops before leaving.
Reacting to the attack, the governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom condemned the attack and cancelled all his engagements today to honour the victims of the attack.
He commiserates with the families of the victims, promising that the state security council would redouble efforts to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
